On the afternoon of December 16, 2021, the symposium on school-enterprise cooperation between the School of Mining Engineering and the Great Southwest Investment Group Co., Ltd. was held in Room 305 of the Liye Building. Zhu Kun, Vice President and General Manager of Human Resources of the Great Southwest Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Zhang Lin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mining Engineering, attended the meeting. The meeting was also attended by the heads of the mining company of the Great Southwest Investment Group Co., Ltd. and relevant personnel from the School of Mining Engineering. The meeting was hosted by Zhang Lin.

During the symposium, Zhu Kun introduced the basic situation and development needs of the Great Southwest Investment Group Co., Ltd., expressing the hope to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation and deepen the integration of industry and education with the School of Mining Engineering at Guizhou University. He emphasized the urgent need for the School to leverage its professional and faculty strengths to provide more assistance and support to the enterprise in talent cultivation and local service. Zheng Fazhou, Chairman of the Mining Company, and Wang Yongzhong, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources, also introduced the relevant conditions of the coal mining enterprises under the company.

After nearly two hours of discussion, both parties reached a preliminary cooperation intention on school-enterprise cooperation in scientific research projects, talent cultivation, and internship base construction. Further communication on the details of cooperation will be conducted in the later stages.
